SMS Terms & Conditions

The HireA.Tech SMS program, operated by HireA.Tech, LLC, is an opt-in text-messaging service for home-service requests and lead notifications. These terms govern that program. By opting in, you agree to receive text messages from HireA.Tech at the mobile number you provided, and you agree to these SMS Terms.

Program description & message types

HireA.Tech sends text messages related to home-service requests: to Customers, transactional messages about the status of a request and the professional we connect you with, including a link to track your request; to trade professionals (Pros), messages offering exclusive leads in their service area, confirming lead acceptance, and — if opted in — a heads-up when they are next in line for a lead. These are transactional, conversational messages, not recurring marketing.

Opt-in

You opt in by submitting your mobile number through our website form, by texting us, or by affirmatively agreeing during onboarding. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase. We do not require you to receive marketing texts to use the Service.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies based on your activity — for example, when you submit a request, when a matching lead is available, or when the status of your request changes. You will not receive recurring marketing messages unless you separately opt in to them.

Message & data rates

Message and data rates may apply. Rates are charged by your mobile carrier and are your responsibility. Check your mobile plan for details.

How do I opt out (STOP)?

You can cancel the SMS service at any time by texting STOP to the number from which you received messages. After you send STOP, we will send a one-time confirmation and will not send further messages unless you opt in again. You may also text UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT.

How do I get help (HELP)?

For help, text HELP to the number from which you received messages, or email support@hirea.tech.

Carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to effective transmission by your mobile carrier and is not guaranteed.

Privacy

Your information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your personal information, and mobile opt-in data and SMS consent are never shared with third parties for their own marketing.

Changes

We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued participation in the program after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
